Enroll at United Christian School

It is so easy to enroll yourself or your child at UCS. 

All you need to do is call our office and make an appointment to meet with our staff.  Home school education can start anytime; call ahead or even the day you would like to come visit with us.  United Christian Home School is proud to help educate children, teens and adults who wish to earn a diploma at home.  We also encourage those interested to call with questions or just to chat about how UCHS can help students accomplish their goals.

It only takes about 15 minutes to sign up and issue a student a course program and assignments to be completed at home.

Helping people acheive an education is our highest priority, so even though we do have regular office hours, we will meet you at any time that is convenient for you to come in work around your schedule.

If you can not come into the office yourself because of work or any other reason, you can send a spouse or other person in your family in to sign you up and start your home school education.

Home School Advantages

Home school is a very good way to educate your children teenagers, and adults. As an adult whatever age you are, you can do this at home even if you work full time, and you have a family to take care of. We give you as much time as you need to finish the assignments at your own pace when it is convenient for you to work on it.

There is no time pressure for you to finish in a certain length of time, and you do not have to find the time in your busy schedule to sit in classes at school. Some people feel embarrassed that they never finished high school, and do not want others to know. This is a very private way that you can get your diploma.

It's Never Too Late

Also, some adults think that they have been out of school too long and will not be able to do the work. The work book we give you explains everything step by step, and there are tutors that you can contact by phone if you have any questions or problems. If you have a teenage person at home who has difficulties in school we can help. If they have fallen behind in school, very often they drop out. At United Christian School, we evaluate each student and put them up in the grade level that they should be in. We encourage them to get a job because this earns them course credits, called co-op credits.

Learn At Your Own Pace

They get four subjects at a time, and they can go at their own pace. As soon as they finish a subject, we will give them the next one. This allows them to not only catch up, but often times get finished earlier than they would in public school. Our children program k through 8th grade is very unique because we get the chance to start the children out right and give them the best education, before the public school has a chance to start them out with an inferior education that gets the child confused and behind in school. We take the time to be sure that your child is learning all the necessary skills to compete in the real world.

We take each individual child and set up a basic program based on reading writing and arithmetic with plenty of practice, to be sure the child learns the material. It is well known that home schooled children are better educated and exhibit better behavior than their peers. They get more personal guidance and attention that helps them stay on track to become better educated than at the public schools.

Children’s Program

How It Works

The children’s program is for grades kindergarten through 8^th grade.

A certified elementary school teacher will assess your child and develop a curriculum appropriate to your child’s needs and learning style to be done at home.  Parent will bring in students once a month to hand in work and discuss child’s progress. Curriculum can be adjusted to help each child realize his or her full potential in all subjects.

Tuition

Initial Cost:  $270.00 – This includes the registration fee, books and first month’s tuition.  Additional fees may be required for extra materials throughout the program.
Per Month: $90.00 – Tuition price is $90.00 per month for the duration of the program or until the child enters a teen program.

Affordable Home School Education

United Christian school is a home based program developed to serve the community of people who want to work on getting their high school diploma in the privacy of their home. We have programs that serve adults of all ages, teenagers, and children whose parents want them home schooled. 

Our Goal

Local schools in this State have deteriorated to the point where student retention and general educaiton are lacking due to our economic climate. Many parents take their children and teenagers out of the public school environment where they feel that there are bad influences on their children. They want to protect them from these bad influences by having them do their schooling at home, in a safer environment.
